WE HAVE ONLY ONE LEFT!
This bit looks more intimidating than it is. In fact, this is very successfully with horses who will not carry a bit forward.
The wide tongue relief port gives a sensitive, large tongue a place to go.
This is a great answer for a horses that put their tongue over the bit in an effort to get away from tongue pressure, as the tongue is the most sensitive part of the horses mouth with over 1000 highly sensitive nerves. It would be nice if more tongue relief snaffle bits were legal in the competitive world of Dressage.
The design of the port does not create pallet pressure, allowing the bit to remain mild & encouraging.
Encourages chewing activity and helps to correct tongue vices. Submissiveness is improved.
When pulling on the reins, the port moves down over the tongue and there is no pressure on the palate due to the special angle of the bit.
Please note this bit is not legal in ridden dressage competition.
Aurigan bit is 18mm in thickness with stainless steel rings.
KK Correction Bits are recommended for horses:
- with a tendency to pull
- horses which jerk the reins out of the rider's hand
- for horses which lie on the bit.
This bit helps to improve the submissiveness and is also good for horses with a raw palate.
Select the width of this bit 1cm (2/5 inch) smaller than normal.
